Day 01 – Arrival in Kunming

On arrival in Kunming, which is known as Spring City, our guide meet you at the airport and transfer you to the hotel in downtown area. You then visit the Green Lake Park and Jinma Biji Fang, drive back to the hotel after dinner.
You can consider to watch Yunnan Impression Show (Dynamic Yunnan) by extra expense.

Day – 02: Kunming – XishuangBanna

Depart from your hotel in the morning, you will take a 1.5 hrs drive to the Stone Forest, which is famous as the typical karst landform and known as the First Wonder of the World. After touring the scenic area (about 2 hours), continue drive to Jiuxiang scenic spots, it is praised as the “Home of Karst caves”.
Take the night flight to Jinghong City in XishuangBanna Dai Autonomous Prefecture located in south Yunnan Province.

Day – 03: XishuangBanna

After breakfast, transfer to visit Galanba (Olive Plain) with an elevation of 530 meters above the sea level, a small town where you will see typical Dai bamboo cabins, Dai ethnic villages, Mangting Park, tropical plants and colorful fruits. Visit the Morning Ganlanba bazaar, here you will see some ethnic people decorated colorful costume in the market.
After lunch, step cross a suspension bridge to visit Menglun Tropical Botanical Garden, which has the riches plant diversity in China.
Drive to Mengla Town in the late afternoon.

Day – 04: XishuangBanna – Lijiang

Today, you will have another unforgettable experience to enjoy the natural scenery at the Sanchahe Forest Part in Mengla. There is a air-pass about one kilometer long on the “looking up to the sky tree (Wang Tian Shu)”. Then Drive back to Jinghong.
Take the flight to Lijiang this night.

Day – 05: Lijiang

After breakfast, drive to Jade Dragon Snow Mt., take cable-car up to the Yak Meadow and hike for about 1 hour to enjoy the breathtaking view of the main peak (5596 m high). On the way back, visit Ganhaizi Meadow and Baishui River. Continue the trip, you will explore the Baisha Village and Baisha Murals, it is famous for the murals and the old town built about 600 years ago. These murals, combining the Han, Tibet and Naxi culture together, are a wonderful art form of minorities in west Yunnan, and vividly unfold the life of the minority people to us.

Day – 06: Lijiang

This morning, you will pay a visit to the Old Town of Shuhe Old Town and Tea-Horse Road Musuem. We remain the whole afternoon free for you to stroll along the old town. The small bridges, running streams, cobbled streets, traditional fashion shops and some hand-made artwork stores make this small town a paradise for people who want to escape from the bustling cities.
After visit Mufu (Mu’s Mansion) and Black Dragon Pond, you have a free time in Lijiang Ancient Town – walk down the cobblestone streets over 700 years and see the Naxi way of life which changed little over time.

Day – 07: Lijiang – Shangri-la

Today, we will drive you from Lijiang to Shangri-La for about four to five hours. In the morning, we will firstly take 1.5 hours driving from Lijiang to the Tiger Leaping Gorge. On the way, you will have a short stop of the First Bend of the Yangtze River for taking some photos. After that continue to drive, your Shangri-La tour guide will wait for you at the Qiaotou Village and accompany with you to have a visit to Tiger Leaping Gorge (3 hours) – one of the finest treks through some of the most naturally beautiful and diverse landscapes China. After this trip, continue another 1.5 hours driving to Shangri-La, a place with stunning scenery, the azure sky and the hospitality of unsophisticated people. When arrival, have a rest of this day.

Day – 08: Shangri-la

Today, begin your exciting tour with a visit to Songzanlin Lamasery (2 hours), the largest Tibetan Buddhist monastery in Yunnan, then visit Potatso National Park (4 hours) – the first national park in mainland China offers a closer distance for travelers to experience the natural environment. Here, you will travel to the Bitahai Lake. Fed by small streams from the snow mountains encircled, the lake shapes just like a trumpet shell. In the color of azure with snowy mountains and trees reflecting in it, the gorgeous lake is a wonderland to appreciate the beauty of nature. There is also another lake of beauty and peacefulness, Shudu Lake. The plants around the lake are lush and the wild animals are various. After this trip, drive back to your hotel and have rest of this day.

Day – 09: Shangri-la – Kunming

Our tour guide will send you to the airport to take the morning flight back to Kunming, and say GOODBYE. After you arrive Kunming, you can continue take your departure flight.
